It's been quite some time since my mom's siblings got together for buka puasa.... Since it's Mak Anjang's birthday, we had our buka puasa session in one of the oldest Northern cuisine restaurant in KL.. Omar Khayam! They have been around since the early 60s and is considered one of my family's fav gastro strophic experience.. Mom and dad used to date there, and my sisters and i have been going there ever since we were little kids... So u could say tht there's a sentimental value attached... :-D This cosy restaurant is still a popular hangout place... So mom booked the private room... Even the owner still remembers mom and dad *i had a hard time recalling how he looked like 22 years ago... ehehehe!* Although a few members of the Ibrahim clan weren't able to attend, the atmosphere was lively as always.... So, my cousins and i have decided that we're going to have our very own barbeque party in 2 weeks time at my place... Just to continue the tradition tht our parents have shown us.... ultimate bonding sessions! ;-)
